Can't get to Admin backend after upgrade from Joomla 1.5.15 to 1.5.16

Help! Fortunately my site still loads, however, I can't do anything with it since I can no longer access the Administrative backend after uploading the latest Joomla patch. Can you tell me how to manually remove the content protection plugin as I believe that is what has caused the problem (I have just updated several identically configured sites that I maintain and only the one with the JoomSimple CP plugin is misbehaving).

Well, as much as I really liked this plugin, I ended up disabling it in PHP so I could get back into my Administrator's panel. I do hope whatever it doesn't like about Joomla 1.5.16 will end up being resolved as it's a pretty nice plugin.

The only other thing I found, when it was working (prior to my upgrading to 1.5.16), that seemed to have issues was that it would not allow CAPTCHA characters to display.

Keep up the good work. I'll be eagerly awaiting an updated version that resolves these problems.
