I want to suggest another feature :

After the main content, just append something like this:

Quote
If you want to link to this page, please use the following URL:

http://something.com/section/category/permalink.html

And the message can be customized.

The Link, can be SEF URL or original URL, choice by the user.

If you mean append a link to the copied text, I already started to work on this feature Smiley
But if we talk about different things, I didn't understand what you mean.
