Hi,

Your plugin looks and works well!  Wink – It should only prevent copying of articles... There are some cases where copying make sense, ie, user form fields, or certain pages (e.g., subscription page). Is there a way to set it so all that cannot be copied is the article content and select pages that can be excluded?

I'm planning to add an option to exclude pages but not limit the plugin on article content, sorry.

Hi,
I'm also interested in limited restriction on some pages only - would it be possible to add the functionality to be able limit it to certain components or alternatively exclude some components? (ie: I'd like it to restrict copying of original artwork images in a photogallery component & e-card component). Plus I've noticed that it also restricts copying the embedding & linking codes for all the videos on our site (using HwdVideoShare Component) so I will probably be forced to disable it, unfortunately.... any chance of altering this particular restriction in future versions?
Thanks, & also thanks for the plugin!

Hi,

This plugin is a very nice, and much needed plugin for webmasters.

Unfortunately, for my site, I'm using RocketTheme's RokQuickCart, which becomes inoperable with this plugin.
Is there a way you can scan the components during the plugin loading, and allow an admin to make exceptions to components the plugin will affect?

My RokQuickCart is the only comonent that appears to be having a problem with the plugin. There's a jquerry problem somewhere between the two.

The ability to exclude this plugin's affect on other components would make this plug very valuable to most Joomla webmasters.

In any event, thanks for the efforts with this product. It's a great piece of work!

Walt.

Hi, Walt.
Can you give me a link to your site with both plugins activated?
I would like to see what causes the problem and fix it if possible.

Thanks.

Hi,

It wasn't your plugin after all.  It was one called "jdowbloads-content" which messed everything up for several templates. It was a js/mootools conflict.

Sorry for the false alarm.

Walt.
